You can’t fix the economy unless you understand the problem. Fix the REAL problem, our “monopoly money” system and that in itself would eliminate the major influence for govt. corruption and lead to controls on govt. spending. As it is under our current system, they just borrow money without having to trouble us, the “little people,” with raising taxes, raising an alarm among us about govt. spending when they in govt. can create money out of debt and pass it to their friends while devaluing the dollar.

One thing that bothers me about Europeans, specifically the English; when the G7 Summit was held in Europe a few years back I saw the British protesting American capitalism in the streets. What those people didn’t understand is that American free market capitalism hasn’t existed since The Great Depression. When the government stimulates the markets and picks the winners and losers, that isn’t a capitalism, that is a socialism. In a free market capitalism, government doesn’t pick the winners and losers, consumers do.

Interesting….that explains alot. I still like to try and understand where people are coming from even if I don’t agree with them. Prejudices and racism is so over played. I have discovered usually the person who screams racism is the racist.
