A self fulfilling prophecy to try to kill the Euro!
An i-CALUMNNY?
i- as Illinois
CA as California
LU as Louisiana
M as Michigan
N as Nevada
NY as New York
All traders speaks of PIIGS, and no trader speaks of i-CALUMNNY, because the European governments give (stupidly) trillions Euros to the American speculators, but the wise FED buys the i-CALUMNNY bonds, so the European speculators can’t win by insulting the i-CALUMNNY states!

because most industries have been outsourced and are not to return, ever.

China, Russia and several other countries OTOH are heavily invested in US financial paper (as compared to EU investments) and, like happens in every casino, are willing to bet the last yuan and ruble, to save their investment. It won’t work, a better bet is that an increasing number of well educated Americans will find good jobs in Asia. Unemployment rate now is lower in Mexico than in the USA!
