Wish you foreigners would mind your own business and quit your bashing the US over your jealousy. This is not Russia and the press here would not suppress a story because the government ordered them to. It would be on every major news outlet. Obama does not support nuclear power. He is just going along with for support on what he does favor. He is a coal industry killer though. One website making up lies does not make fact. If you think it does then you’re the idiot!

You can try theintelhub.com, beforeitsnews.com, alternative news report, lucaswhitefieldhixson.com, and more that can be found relatively easy. The fact there is a no fly zone over that area is suspicious and media should be allowed some sort of access in order to quell the growing uncertainty. Fukushima was lied about from the beginning, and being so naive to think you need an earthquake or tsunami to cause a nuclear accident proves that one has a horrible memory: Chernobyl, 3MI? No natural disasters there, only human error. Plus the fact that Fort Calhoun has vastly more spent fuel being stored on site than any of the forementioned complexes did or have.

I don’t think we can blame the EU for this little gem, Anita. This is just another junk “news” website that has no real funds for journalism, so instead they copy and paste sensationalist crap from random internet wackos. We have plenty of these wacko in the States. Did you happen to click on the “source?” Please do, it’s a real hoot.

Who republishes a junk piece from whatdoesitmean.com? A piece that can’t even provide a link to the original Russian report, no less! And how can there be a media blackout when you have a local news story ON THIS VERY PAGE!? Is this whole news outlet this shitty?

Where PERHAPS some, ‘reporter’, tired of watching the river raise got it in their head to pencil out a china syndrome catastrophe and then set about to lay the ground work for it in reality. In all likely hood, to set them selves up to take credit for, ‘breaking the story early’. If a reporter in Omaha, maybe I would have had similar thoughts for escaping the beef belt and landing a job at a major news desk. He appears he’ll be a fine replacement for Dan Rather.

As for those suggesting we follow a European energy model, after accusing that a Japanese model has been followed.

Cactuar, the tune of the day isn’t a Johnny Cash number but one by Janice Joplin. The one with the line that sorta goes, ‘Glow’n, Glow’n, Glown’n on the river’.

Baloney. He is trying to shut down the coal industry in America because most coal mines are independent small businesses that can’t be controlled. He is responsible for the closing of 5 coal plants. Meanwhile, the UN is funding the building of coal mines in China.

The article about “Obama wants to bankrupt the coal industry” is completely wrong, and taking the words COMPLETELY out of context. It is blaringly obvious in Obama’s words that the article quotes VERBATIM that he was referring to the “factory which chooses to be coal-fired” and NOT to the coal industry!! Since when is the entire coal industry ONE coal-fired factory?!?

The blogger (blogger != reporter) also fails to mention that the coal industry can easily EXPORT the coal to other coal-burning countries!! I was in Australia a few years ago, and my cousin was lamenting that since the big China / US contaminated-goods scandals, many Chinese factories were shut down. As a further consequence, Australia’s economy suffered due to the fact that China was purchasing large amounts of Australian coal to fuel those factories.. America can just as easily sell its coal to other countries who are willing to use it.

Just my $0.02. :)
