I grew up in the 60’s in Endicott,NY. When I remember the pollution then and compare to now it is quite a different picture.I remember factory smokestacks spewing black smoke,creeks and rivers running blood red from factory discharge,sewer pipes 6 foot in diameter from housing developments dumping sewage straight into the Susquehanna river,cars spewing lead filled exhaust,people burning their trash in burn barrels or dumping it down a hill (no garbage pickup)people throwing their trash from their cars(no litter law)people smoking in restaurants and grocery stores,phosphate’s leaching into drinking water from laundry detergent.pcb’s from transformers and you say we are ruining or planet.We might have some problems left but I see the world in a much better condition than in the past.A lot of people have done a very good job of cleaning up that mess with no help from ET

Hunter gatherers? Beauty product bottles? Does everyone see what the heavy drug use from the 60’s did to the United States? It starts with the incredible shrinking woman and leads to this… So next time you crack open a bottle of beer from the aluminum cap and drink it out of that glass bottle, molecules were man-made. It’s too late…look at each of us…none of us are willing to give up the conveniences of our lives..

what do you think contributes?

the construction of the computers we are using right now
the containers our beauty products are purchased in

every man-made object in our home that is not strictly made of materials found in nature..

it would take a massive change to get people to save the planet…we would need to live in homes that are natural…homes that do not withstand the forces nature..we would need to become hunter gatherers again in order to work with the tides of nature instead of against it.
