As an eye for a eye measure, this is something most fitting in Israeli culture. Also such a measure prevents EU countries from becoming a target for Islamic anger over double standards like doing nothing about existing Israeli nukes but accusing Iraq and now Iran from hypothetical nukes with the aim to get hold of the oil. As trade partner, Israel offers nothing that could’t be bought from other countries so a boycott only harms Israel.
