Belsen you are wrong. we made 150,000 and lived in an 180,000 home I have an 8 year old landrover with 2 more payments. I bought it used. it was 27,000 stop judging. Unfortunatly many people make your mistake. The bring home 200K a year, they go out and buy a 600K House, 2 new Mercs, a cottage and all the toys, but when the bottom falls out, they are left with a hilarious amount of debt and nowhere to go.

My wife and I bring home about 100K a year. We own a 130K dollar house, I drive a 95 Dodge Pick Up, she a 2000 Chev Blazer. In other words when our bottom falls out (if it does) we will be left with a house paid for, and plenty of cash to plod along and pay property tax etc.

I hope your economical situation will be a real eye opener for you, when you guys get back on your feet. Quit trying to keep up with modern society.

It sounds like you and your husband were involved in the service economy, well mam, I’m sorry to tell you, but without those twenty million blue-collar unionized factory workers, there are less and less people that can afford your services. Sure, those twenty million people may have been replaced with 50,000 millionaires and billionaires, but that means a smaller marketplace for people like yourself. Even the the wealthiest man in the world will not buy himself 1,000,000 cars, so how would anyone expect him to buy 1,000,000 services from the services and pre-paid products from individuals like yourself.

I’m not saying these things to scold you, especially because of the straits you and your family are in. I am just hoping beyond all hope that you won’t buy into a politician simply because he’s a republican.
