It appears that this thunderstorm is ejecting suspended oil particles into an upper level wind.
I’ve seen several of these storms in Florida in the past two weeks.
It seems so far that the only storms that display this phenomenon are moving from west to east.
Is it raining oil in Florida? This video was captured on June 17, 2010 looking west from Vero Beach, Florida, which is on the east coast about 2 hours north of Miami.
If you live in Florida, or know someone that does, please watch this video for your safety and that of your loved ones.

We have enough going here in the gulf we don’t need forking people like you making shit up. You need to read Revelations chapter 22 verse 15 Outside the city are the dogs—the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie. In other words your going to hell.
I am not sure if this qualifies for an oil cloud formation, I am sure it would have to disperse fairly soon after picking it up out to sea. I would need more scientific proof to be convinced
While this video is indeed silly since it can hardly be construed as evidence, lighter oil does indeed evaporate. Do a little research. It is also entirely possible that oil thinned with the poisonous Corexit dispersant may indeed wind up in our rain. That horrific and entirely possible reality aside, waterspouts (quite common in the Gulf) may uptake pretty much anything–including oil.
do you honestly think oil is light enough to evaporate? We should be more worried about legitimate threats like evaporating toxic chemical dispersants than “oil rain”, although a hurricane picking up water with oil in it and carrying it to shore is a real concern..
Guy films a rainbow and thinks its oil.
