Solar flares are and will be a continuing concern for everyone using advanced technology for the next several years because it can and will affect our ability to communicate and don’t think that you won’t be mad because you can’t watch your big screen TV because of solar flares causing interference with our satellites.

If it happens, it wont come from some outter part of our galaxy. It takes 15 minutes to reach Earth! But there are cases of a 24-48 hour prediction, which is just that…a prediction. Look at our fine weather people. 40% chance to rain, snow, or be sunny
