While the US military is accepting illegal aliens, white conservatives are rejected for being “extremists”.
As recently as ten years ago the US Marines still recommended a book to new recruits, in which recruits were warned that they would be immersed into an environment of radically different types of people. A friend of mine who completed his service in the Marine Corps years ago still has his copy of the book. There is a line that says “don’t be surprised if the guy sleeping on your left is a member of the Nation of Islam and the guy on your right is a neo-Nazi skinhead.”
Now, the same Marine Corps that once prided itself on having “black Muslims and Neo-Nazis in the same place” says normal rank and file southern white people are too “extreme” to join! – Ed.

You should really read up on your subject before writing an article about it. The U.S. gov is not accepting illegal immigrants. As for the Confederate flag…it represents alot of things for different people. It really all depends on what part of the country you are from or how you were raised. It is an American flag and a part of American history. For most of us, it represents a sad part of our history we would rather not remember. For others, it is a reminder of how strong and independent “the south” once use to be.

What are you talking about? You are either misinformed or misinforming. The US military will not accept illegal aliens, they have to provide documents that they are citizens (birth certificate) or legal aliens (green card, visa, etc). In fact the military provides some benefits for legal aliens if they join, so that way they could get their US citizenship on an accelerated schedule. Know your facts before you write. LOL
Kuassa, the point is that any alien who could meet enlistment standards would be considered for the Legion, just as the French have done it for so many years. I am not writing about the current situation, but rather making a proposal. Please read more carefully.
The U.S. would do well to establish its own Foreign Legion, thus augmenting the military with people who would fight for the country, with citizenship as the reward for five years of service. It most certainly would be much less expensive than paying mercenaries something like ten times what a soldier gets. Better yet, the U.S. could get out of the unnecessary war business and use the money saved to pay down the debt, rebuild the country’s infrastructure and improve its schools. However, I don’t see this happening. The military-industrial-congressional triad would lose out, and they simply would not allow that.

The Army has chosen New York City as the site for recruiting those who seek to enlist on the basis of their language skills, while Army health care professionals will be recruited nationwide.
