So, after years of deficit spending and paying HUGE welfare bonuses, in addition to paying for health care, education and social services for illegals, California is beyond broke. They’ve been running a budget deficit for many years and CA is on the verge of a total collapse of Government. Arnold issues a threat to Obama saying “Bailout CA or I will end cash welfare and people will riot in the streets”.
Let’s hope the US federal government does NOTHING. California got itself into this mess with its massive state welfare system (which is explained in the video). You can sit on your butt in CA and make $3500-4000 on welfare and other subsidies, so why would anyone work? In addition to that, California has held open the door to illegals, which cost billions per year for medical and social services while these people pay nothing in return in the form of taxes.
The federal government is bailing out everyone around the world EXCEPT THE TAXPAYERS, which are the ones who need the bailout FAR more than the banks, insurance companies, investing firms, insolvent governments and welfare states. Every time we agree to one of these “bailouts”, we are closer to the crash of the Dollar and the end of life as we know it. We simply CANNOT keep this up. Not for California, not for Greece and damn sure not for the rich bankers.
This is why Americans must end the fed, because they have NO SAY in where their money goes and they have no say in how much is printed which directly impacts every one in the form of the inflation tax.

MrHat, all financials for California are listed with the codicile that you add three more 000’s to each of those figures, and because that makes the number too long to put on the balance sheet, they simply put down the first set of numbers that are usually different and leave the last three 000 off to round up.
If you are used to large state budges and financials you would know that is the standard practice, its very much in the billions. Sorry. But one way to prove it is to go to court when they try to file bancruptcy and give away and privatize the freeways and bridges and put tolls on them, is to bring this in and say “california is not bancrupt” and add on the northern california unrestricted fund in investment. A man did a deep research into another state, New Jersey, who was also screaming bancruptcy and found trillions of dollars in liquid unrestricted assets sitting all over the state that was tax payer money and made an excellent video about it. California is way larger, richer and deeper in revenues than any other state in the union with maybe the exception of NY, so I am sure statewide they are also in the trillions, so why do they hang onto them and scream bancruptcy?

In regards to Southern California’s financial report, I wanted to point out the claim that these unrestricted assets to be in the billions is erroneous. In fact, it explicitly states it is in the millions.

What they are doing simultaneously is using the illegals to break down wages, after that the lower wages results in people unable to pay their mortgage and then the banks forclose but do not try to resell the property. They hold onto the land.
In the meantime, they pushup the debt while reducing taxes because everyone is making less, they have cash in the bank and don’t use it, why?
California goes into forclosure and the assets of the state become confiscated to pay off the debt. The assets then get sold to big corps who then use the land to screw you out of more money.
For instance, you paid taxes plus toll fees to cross the Golden Gate Bridge, right? Now its given to the saudis for money to pay down the debt. The saudi’s take it and put higher toll fees and still you pay taxes but now its to be given to the private corporations to run the prisons, bridges, roads etcc that they took over and make a profit from it. Its all just a giant scam and I would not buy into it if I were you.

Really??? Then how come Just Southern California alone shows on their CAFR Report for 2009, a total of $4 billion dollars sitting in investment accounts that are “unrestricted”? In other words they are not earmarked for anything?
The CAFR’s that show these funds, are never used when budgeting and they are liquid. So what is up with that???

Go to page 26 and check out their unrestricted assets in the bank and investments…… its in the billions and that is only for southern california so you can imagine what it would be if we added in Northern California which had not filed their CAFR’s yet with the Feds.
