A good income? At what cost? I make a GREAT income, and I don’t have to show my tits to repulsive strangers to get paid. What kind of person thinks that women would actually CHOOSE to have these kind of jobs if there were other lucrative opportunities?

As for the former strip club owner and commenter who think that this ban is somehow like Saudi Arabia, they obviously has no idea how women are completely oppressed there and in most other Middle Eastern countries. The right to work, get an education, drive and vote shouldn’t have to come with a leather harness, fuzzy handcuffs and a pair of stilettos.

Ridiculous, a prime example of a nanny state.
I respect the views of the politicians who see the sex industry as demeaning to women, but there is no need to impose these views on the general population.
Using the strip club owner’s example: How is this any different from the Saudi government forcing women to cover up?
Personal opinions should never influence politics, this is a slippery slope towards totalitarianism.

how is banning a job that provides a good income to women progress. Women are smart and can make decision for themselves. A lot of women actually pay for college working in strip clubs. Now they are subjec to low paying jobs because of some liberal do gooder. Women have choices who are we to impose morality on them.. Individual freedom to choose is much more important.
