The explosive gases slow by the square of the speed of the explosive for every meter travelled. The Ryder truck was over 33 feet from ground zero. By the time the shock wave hit the building it was only travelling a few hundred feet per second. In short, it was a window-breaker. Something else brought the building down.

Those were charges set in the basement that took it out .
