To ensure an informed analysis of youth gangs one must seek to look at the ethnocentric policies and practice of White Australia that marginalizes and discriminates against not only all migrant groups but there own indigenous peoples as causal factors in the increase of these incidents as well as the complexity of hybrid youth cultures created by globalization.
