I am amazed at american caucasians who claim this land as their own. You are not of the the heritage of this land. You came here because you were the underbelly of the society you came from, you pilfered and stole everything you could and called it your own and then you look down your nose at everything and everybody who does not look or think as you do. You stole the whole state of Texas and what is now Manhattan and then romanticize it for the history books. Now you don’t even want Mexicans in Texas. You have to be the most forgetful and hypocritical people on earth. You import people here for cheap labor, ala Africans and Mexicans and then you proceed to figure out how to deprive them of basic human rights. Please don’t misunderstand me I get tired of my own people, Black Americans, being lazy, but I am also sick of others acting as if they don’t have issues. We as blacks have obstacles to overcome not the least of which is ignorance. We also must overcome the anger aimed at the people that brought us here, profited from us and now ridicule us for what was systematically put in place to continue our ignorance. I myself am a professional Black man who finished college without student loans. I am the head of an organization where I am directly responsible for hiring. I hire based on qualifications not skin color and as such sometimes hire candidates that just as soon not work here but that’s life. All are treated the same and awarded based on merit. Reading commentary such as I have seen here is good for me. It reminds me of the work I must continue to do to uplift my people for generations to come. I also know a lot of the comments are born of ignorance and fear. If you could have killed my people we would have been extinct long ago.That is where our true strength lies and that is what you truly hate. I don’t choose to hate or ask for reparations or any such thing. I was taught to work hard and make my way. My children were raised the same way. You hate spewing people of all colors will never be happy because you dwell in negativity. Please continue to motivate me through your ignorance because I know that deep inside of you the fear of me reaching my full potential threatens the hell out of you. When persecuted we have not jumped on a ship and found someone less technologically advanced than us and then took their stuff and called it ours. Thats wants known as a good old fashioned bully. We have chosen to stand our ground and make the best of the hand we were dealt. To be exact it is not all your fault,in some cases our own ancestors sold us into slavery. One thing I do guarantee you I will never bow down and I will do everything in my power to strike that fear in your prejudice ass until you confront it. I love all people for their uniqueness and I pray for people who extoll this ignorance.
