Memphis is tops in many things. Great BBQ, Live Music, Crazy Political Leaders and Bums. Parks are full of them tainting the wooden benches with a stench of stale body odor and urine to the point that tourist, families and pets can’t enjoy many of our parks without fear of catching some sort of illness. This city is so full of panhandlers that almost every street corner is packed with people panhandling change that you become numb to their existence. Then one steps up their bum game giving us something to take pride in as a city knowing that our bums are in a class by themselves.
Meet Augustus Hudgins, who with a name like Augustus was destine for a strange existence when you consider the only other Augustus most people know is Augustus Gloop from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Mr. Hudgins loves our city parks. How much does his love them? While sitting on a park bench enjoying the greenery, the sweeping view of the river, and fresh air he was moved by a passion deep inside him to express his love. Which he did with vigorous strokes of his little Augustus while sitting on the park bench.
Memphis police arrested him masturbating in a public park. According to a court document, it happened at Court Square in Downtown Memphis. Police say, in the document, officers were waved down at the intersection of Court and Main Street by a man who told them a person was exposing himself. The witness told the officers the man was sitting on a park bench with his penis out and was masturbating.
Hudgins claims it was all a misunderstanding. He said he was just giving his penis some air. Augustus may not air his dirty laundry in public but he is willing to air out his penis. You don’t want stale air around your man parts everyone knows that a healthy penis needs fresh air, exercise, and sunshine.
