European Parliament Election Results in Romania June 7, 2009

Romanian Nationalists Won 7,2% at the European Parliament Elections 2009. This means that they will send 2 men in the EU Parliament! The results are not as good as they were in the Netherlands, but better 2 seats than none. PRM: Partidul Romania Mare, in English: Greater Romania Party is the Political Party of the Romanian Nationalists. In Bucharest, PRM obtained 16,8%!

PSD+PC 30,82% (leftist socialists) (11 seats)

PD-L 29,75% (conservative liberalism) (10 seats)

PNL 14,53% (liberalism) (5 seats)

UDMR 9,07% (Hungarian People’s Party, liberal conservatism) (3 seats)

PRM 8,68% (3 seats)

Elena Băsescu 4,22% (independent but joined PD-L after the elections ended, 1 seat)

PNȚCD 1,46%

Pavel Abraham 1,02%

Forța Civică 0,40%
