Little did he know: what goes around comes around.Not to mention that the FBI will be probing anybody who worked for this Goon and there may be additional repercussions for them . What Rabbi Resnick is projecting, I don’t know. But he’s projecting something. I am a gentile and Madoff’s antics haven’t changed the levels of anti-Semitism in my community one way or another. He actually changes nothing. Those of us who always felt that way don’t need a Madoff to make their case. To the rest of us, Madoff is just one of many sociopaths who prefer the safety of preying on their own over risking quicker detection from strangers. They are everywhere and come from all walks of life. We are so busy worrying about our own sociopaths in Wall Street and Congress, he rarely to never comes up in conversation. When he’s featured on the news, we watch it without comment and then wait for the other shoe to drop from our own sociopaths. We feel sorry for Madoff’s victims, but we have our own problem children to worry about. We regard this as an internal Jewish matter and believe that the Jewish community will figure out the best way to deal with him.

The Madoff scandal definitely has brought the Jewish community in focus. Sadly his crimes have hurt many who have involved their lives and businesses to dutiful and charitable causes. I’m curious how so many prominent people would put all their assets in one place? my only assessment is unnecessary greed. This fact is what has hurt our economy presently in general. Not just this tragic situation. I hope this is a lesson for the multitude of American who were only thinking about filling their koffers. my hope is that this great country heals from these financial ills.
