(The most important thing to think about after reading this article is just how many people in the West and around the world have recognized just what this gentleman has as a result of Israel’s latest attack on Gaza but don’t choose to write about it.)
It took a reader to wake me up to the fact I did something I swore I would never do. First of all, let me say I am under no compunction to provide a fair and balanced point of view on anything. This is my website and I get to post what I want to post. You aren’t paying for it so your choice is to read it or go away, I don’t owe anyone anything, I’m providing it for free.
There is no fair and balanced point of view on some issues. Rape for example. If I were to come out with an article decrying an increase in rape in some American city, should I also post something from a rapist explaining why that’s a good thing? I think not. There are some issues there are not two reasonable sides to.
Torture is one. Anyone can be tortured into confessing to anything. So torture is not a way of gaining information, no matter what the media tells you. And as a former military pilot with two years in combat, it’s my point of view that it’s a bad idea for us to torture because then the enemy of the day might also conclude that should do the same to those Americans they might capture, such as pilots.
I have long been a fan of James Howard Kunstler, author of “The Long Emergency.” Up until today, I have recommended it to everyone I know. We have posted a dozen or so of his pieces, with a link to his site.
I’m sorry I did, it took a reader to point out to me Kunstler is a racist anti-Semitic whining War Criminal.
This is part of what he said, “Until the last few days of the year, that is. I’m sure the ever-growing cohort of American anti-Semites who send me emails will be tickled when I assert that the Hamas rocket attacks against Israel of recent days guaranteed a sharp response from Israel — and now, of course, Hamas is playing the crybaby card: “… what’d we do to deserve this…?” Well, you f*cking fired a bunch rockets into Israel. Did you ever hear of cause-and-effect?”
I agree with you, EU Times.
It’s like that flotilla thing. I absolutely believe Israel was set up. You can see that from the videos all over the internet, plus the IDF had a Reuters journalist with them, which I would definitely regard as someone who is credible and not biased.
Then they whined and complained, but the fact is, they were attacking those Israelis with anything from pipes and deck chairs to stun grenades even before they could set a foot on deck, after repeated requests to divert their course, which they completely ignored – on purpose.
It’s like the ANC lies & propaganda about whites in SA. To this day people think that they were forced to go to school in Afrikaans. That is not true. They had mother tongue education in all subjects and grades, except for Science and Maths on High School level. Their languages didn’t have the terminology. Sharpville happened because they saw this as an excuse to riot, then marched to a police station where they surrounded and very much outnumbered the couple of officers. They were pushing against the fencing so much that it or the gate broke, and a common criminal named Geelbooi fired a shot in the air and then all hell broke loose, the policemen had to defend themselves.
Something about Sharpeville:

That flotilla thing was typical ANC tactics and incidently the SA Deputy President had just returned from Turkey a couple of days before that flotilla disaster. Coincidence? You decide.
