Eurostat report negative European Birth Rate while Immigration and Birth Rate from Non-Europeans is sharply increasing.
Natural population growth is slowing year on year across the 25-member European Union, according to new data which shows immigration to be holding off the demographic decline of the “Old Continent”.
Except for France, all of Europe’s heavyweights now depend on immigration to keep their populations stable or growing and are taking steps to boost their birth rates — including the symbolic choice of a mother of seven to be Germany’s new minister for families.
Most of the increase was due to net migration, more than half of it to Italy and Spain, although Eurostat noted that regularisation programmes for immigrants in both countries had inflated the figures.
But while Eurostat’s projections show the bloc’s population inching up to around 470 million over the next 15 years — it then starts to fall, possibly as low as 450 million by 2050.

In Germany, Europe’s largest country with 82.5 million inhabitants, deaths have exceeded births since 1991 — although immigration has so far kept the population growing.
By 2020, however, Eurostat estimates that Germany’s population will start to stagnate, then fall, declining to around 74.6 million by 2050.
To turn the tide, Chancellor Angela Merkel is currently considering a raft of pro-birth measures, including making childcare costs tax deductible.
Italy’s birth rate remains the bloc’s second-lowest after Spain, and its population, currently at 58.4 million, is expected to start contracting by 2020, falling to 52.7 million by 2050.
Further east, among the EU’s 10 new members, Poland, the Czech Republic, and the three Baltic states will also see their populations shrink by 2020.
The notable exception to the trend, France, saw its population grow strongly last year by 367,600, to 62.9 million at the start of this year, according to a national census published this week.
In a mirror-image of the situation across the EU, three quarters of France’s population growth was due to a strong birth rate — 1.94 per woman in 2007 — and the rest to immigration, the National Statistics Officereported.
The populations of France, Britain and Spain are set to continue to grow by between 4.0 and 4.4 percent until 2020.
But since the late 1990s, Britain, Europe’s third largest country, has relied on immigration to keep its population growing.
Last year it took a series of pro-family measures, such as increasing the amount of statutory maternity pay, extending the length of paid maternity leave and creating a two-week paternity leave.
Similarly in Spain, the growth was due largely to a wave of immigration from Morocco, Romania, Colombia … as well as British newcomers drawn south by the sunny climes.

I have no problem with immigration to America or Europe so long as the immigrants are going to become true citizens who believe in and abide by the laws of the free nation that is welcoming them. However, most of these immigrants are Muslims who have no interest in upholding the free society that they live in. Their goal is to take over these free socieities and to replace them with Islamic Sharia Law. America and Europe are suffering the consequences of our sinful and selfish way of life. Americans and Europeans have stopped having children because they are more interested in pleasure seeking than raising a godly offspring. Americans have murdered more than 50 million of their children in their mothers wombs through abortion and Europeans have done the same. We have replaced our natural children with immigrants who do not love our nation and the freedoms which we hold so dear. Most Americans and most Europeans have departed from God and the Bible. That is why they are not having children. Many other Americans and Europeans have become so depraved that they have turned from the natural use of the opposite sex to homosexuality and lesbianism. The decline of America and Europe is a judgment from God because of our sins and it is a consequence of our murdering our unborn children. May God bring us to true repentance and may we change our ways before it is too late!
